Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data CRITHINK collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

  1. Who is responsible

    CRITHINK is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are based in Paris, France.

  2. What we collect

    When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, company and message you enter. We use them to answer you, and for nothing else.

    Our server keeps standard technical logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to detect abuse of the contact form.

    We store one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose. It contains no identifier and is not used for tracking or advertising.

  3. Why we are allowed to process it

    For the contact form, our legal basis is your consent, given when you choose to send us a message, together with our legitimate interest in replying to business inquiries.

    For technical logs, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.

  4. How long we keep it

    Contact form messages are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, so we can follow up on an inquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

  5. Who else sees it

    Messages from the contact form are delivered through Resend, our email provider, and arrive in our own mailbox. Our website runs on servers provided by our hosting provider.

    We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

  6. Your rights

    You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You can also ask for it in a portable format.

    Write to contact@crithink.io and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority: the CNIL in France, or the authority in the country where you live.

  7. Security

    The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the mailbox that receives contact form messages is restricted to the people who need it.

  8. Changes

    If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be described here rather than applied silently.
